Hello, My name is Chris Hunt and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor here at Hope Springs. I am thankful for the opportunity to be working with you.  

Just a little bit about myself.  I have loved helping people since working at a summer camp in college.  It was a transformative time that truly influenced who I am as a human being.  I graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology in 2010 and spent the next 9 years working in Church Ministry.  That entire time the calling to be a therapist remained.  I was able to graduate with my master’s from Liberty University in 2019.  I immediately started working in an inpatient psychiatric treatment facility which broke my heart seeing people at their lowest.  I was able to move to Twin Lakes Recovery in 2022 to better help those fighting for themselves.  Over the years I have worked with people walking through Trauma, severe substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and many more struggles.  

I am passionate about you understanding the role of the brain in treating mental health, trauma, and substance abuse issues.  I not only hope you are able to walk away with the tools you need to recover from distress but the knowledge of why we as humans struggle, and the hope that is found in fighting for yourself. 

Please note, I do not accept insurance, but a monthly super bill will be uploaded to your client portal should you wish to submit for reimbursement. HSA & FSA cards are accepted.
