Emma Rooks

Masters Level Intern

Hello, my name is Emma Rooks and I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Rhetoric from Georgia College & State University. I have experience working with children and families through my time as a Children’s Ministry Intern at Hebron Baptist Church, where I prepared and taught lessons, led activities, and supported kids in their personal and spiritual growth.

A little bit about me professionally: I have had a passion for the counseling field since I was 15 years old, and I truly believe this is the work I was called to do. I am deeply passionate about helping others discover their self-worth, build confidence, and learn to love who they are. My heart is to provide a safe and empathetic space where clients feel seen, valued, and supported in their journey. I am especially drawn to walking alongside individuals who are navigating anxiety, traumas, addictions, and life transitions, as well as those who are seeking to grow in self-love and confidence.

A little bit about me personally: I am originally from Georgia and love spending time with my family, especially my sweet niece and my brand new nephew, who was just born on August 18. I enjoy all things health and fitness, and I am a big fan of coffee and matcha. I also love fashion and have worked at a boutique over the past year, which has been such a fun creative outlet. In my free time, you’ll often find me going to concerts with friends, enjoying movies, or spending time with the people I love most.

I love this field with my entire heart and am so grateful and excited for the opportunity to walk alongside others in their healing journey. Therapy can feel intimidating at first, but my goal is to create a safe space where you can be yourself and take steps toward growth, healing, and confidence. I look forward to working with you!

Please note, I do not accept insurance, but a monthly super bill will be uploaded to your client portal should you wish to submit for reimbursement. HSA & FSA cards are accepted.
