My name is Jason Thompson, and I look forward to partnering with you as we navigate our lives through the world around us.

I am a late bloomer in my new counseling career, but no matter my job, friends, or travel, I always encountered someone who needed to talk. If you have no one else to talk to, you have me. No one should go through life without someone who will listen. 

Since I began my journey as a counselor, I found that adults and children alike have a hard time communicating their feelings and emotions. In this digital age we live in, communication can come in many forms, even video games. In certain games like Minecraft, people can build and create their emotions, feelings, and in certain cases they can create their own safe space. It is a therapeutic speciality I thoroughly enjoy.

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with B.S. in Psychology. Two years ago, I decided to get my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University, and now am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. 

When not doing schoolwork, I spend time with my two boys and watch sports. I like to fish and enjoy the outdoors in general.

Please note, I do not accept insurance, but a monthly super bill will be uploaded to your client portal should you wish to submit for reimbursement. HSA & FSA cards are accepted.
